Our Mission

To Create a Culture of Worship in Our Community.

Who We Are

“Pelham Church of God is a family committed to creating a culture of worship and helping people discover God, develop their faith, define their purpose, and make a difference daily by living out God’s mission.”

Our Vision

At Pelham, we are passionate about our devotion to God, life-giving relationships, and serving our community. Our passion is to see people connect to God and discover their purpose. We focus on reaching out to the unchurched community, developing relationships through discipleship, and empowering people through serving. The life-giving message of Jesus Christ, the passion, joy, and worship of our Sunday worship services at Pelham is our attraction.

Our Beliefs

Is the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
There is one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

WE all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.

That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

By faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.

We believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ, Confess Him as Lord and believe that He died and rose again after three days.

Providing us with Redemption. (Sozo)

We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

In speaking with all other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, that is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Is provided for ALL in atonement

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
